Gli indici MarketGrader offrono agli investitori un approccio disciplinato e costante per far funzionare la metodologia di ricerca. Qui sotto spieghiamo come funziona la metodologia.
Come funziona il sistema MarketGrader
MarketGrader mantiene una banca dati dei bilanci finanziari su base trimestrale e annuale approvati dalle societa quotate negli Stati Uniti insieme al loro valore di mercato (prezzo). Questi dati sono convertiti in rapporti e analisi finanziarie che si utilizzano per misurare la salute finanziaria e performance complessiva. Ogni sera, gli ultimi report e i prezzi giornalieri delle azioni sono aggiornati da molte banche dati e sono contenuti nel nostro database. Ogni sera il nostro sistema rivaluta tutti gli indicatori finanziari per tutte le società che copre e genera un punteggio in forma di lettera per ogni indicatore.
24 indicatori sono valutati per ogni società e sono divisi in quattro settori principali : Crescita, Valore, Profittabilità e Cash Flow. Ognuno di questi settori è assegnato ad un sistema di punteggio di MarketGrader. Alla fine, tutti i 24 indicatori sono uniti in un punteggio globale da 0 fino a 100. Il valore dato ad ogni indicatore varia in ogni settore secondo la metodologia di MarketGrader. Gli indicatori individuali utilizzati nell’analisi fondamentale variano secondo il settore. Il punteggio finale è a sua volta utilizzato per generare un segnale di BUY, HOLD o SELL.
Gli Indici MarketGrader
La ricerca MarketGrader è più utile quando viene usata nel contesto di un approccio di investimento disciplinato che può essere così spiegato:
- Diversificazione di settore.
- Diversificazione di capitalizzazione
- Ribilanciamenti consistenti per realizzare guadagni e mentenere solo società di qualità nel portafoglio
Nello sforzo di combinare questi principi con la metodologia rigida di ricerca, MarketGrader ha creato l’indice MarketGrader 40 nel 2003 come un portafoglio modello. Facendo questo, ha tradotto i principi descritti sotto in regole per indici e ha reso il suo punteggio il fattore principale per determinare quali azioni sarebbero state selezionate per questo portafoglio. Ogni azione selezionata ha l’opportunità di contribuire alla performance globale dell’indice dato che viene equipesata nel portafoglio indipendentemente dalla sua capitalizzaione.
Per portare il processo descritto sopra ancora oltre, MarketGrader ha creato una serie d’indici per completare l’iniziale MG40 per poter soddisfare le esigenze di diversi tipi d’investitori. Modificando il numero dei componenti e dei filtri usati per ogni indice – senza sacrificare i principi per un solido investimento di portafoglio o la ricerca sottostante- la famiglia di indici MarketGrader propone agli investitori un alto livello di flessibilita’ senza bisogno di preoccuparsi del processo di selezione delle azioni.
