Top to Bottom Comparison

Our Side by Side Stock Analysis, another one of our fundamental analysis views, allows you to compare three companies, from top to bottom on the same page.

While many of the lists and search results on our web site allow you to rank many companies by sector, industry or any criteria of your choice through our Advanced Search, those lists only display each company's overall grade and rating. The Side by Side Analysis page instead shows you a complete top to bottom analysis of three companies plus a series of charts, facts and figures presented in a unique graphical user interface.

Stock Rating and Grades

The page begins with each company's rating and overall grade as well as general information about the stock including its price and 52-week high and low.

Top Down Analysis

The next section of the reports display our Top Down analysis, which shows you MarketGrader.com's current momentum rating of the company's sector and Industry as well as the stock's Sentiment indicators. These three indicators will provide you with vital information about factors that affect the market's supply and demand for the stock and have nothing to do with the company's underlying fundamentals. While fundamentals are most important in long term investing, negative sentiment can depress a healthy company's stock for months adding to your portfolio's volatility.

Company Financials

The next section of the page provides you with a series of quick comparison financial charts and figures that show you the companies' revenue growth, net income growth, profit margins, return on equity, capital structure, and EPS growth rates. These will help you identify the major differences in the fundamentals of the three companies in your side-by-side comparison.

Fundamental QuadrantTM

Finally, at the bottom of the page you'll find a small version of each company's Fundamental QuadrantTM showing you the strengths and weaknesses of all three companies right next to each other.
