Search Filters
General Criteria
These filters allow you to search for companies with a specific overall grade (0-100) or with a specific BUY, HOLD or SELL rating. If searching by rating, you may filter by overall MarketGrader rating or by stock ratings from the Growth or Value perspectives. Please keep in mind that a company may have two or three different ratings based on their fundamental analysis indicators. For example, CVS, with an overall rating of 56.5 (8/8/2006) is rated a HOLD but from the growth perspective the company is rated a BUY; from the value perspective it is rated a SELL.
By Sector
You may narrow your search to include companies only from a single economic sector (out of 10) or from a single sub-industry (out of 147). If filtering by sub-industry, you may search for a specific one alphabetically or sorted by economic sector from the drop-down menu.
Marketgrader Indicators
In your search you may emphasize on of the four sections of our fundamental analysis by filtering the composite Growth, Value, Profitability and Cash Flow grade by their letter grade (A+ to F).
Financial Filters
Finally, you may choose from our selection of financial filters to complete your search. For example, search for all companies with an overall rating above 65 with a stock price between $5 and $50, a P/E ratio below 18 and a market cap above $500 million:
